Learning Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning on plant reproduction requires media that concretely visualize abstract concepts. However, existing media have not fully met students’ needs, particularly in schools with limited internet connectivity. This study aimed to analyze the need for developing scientific interactive learning media on plant reproduction material for fourth-grade elementary school students. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey method involving 30 fourth-grade students and 5 elementary school teachers. Data were collected through student questionnaires, teacher interviews, document analysis, and infrastructure observations. Data triangulation was employed by comparing findings from questionnaires, interviews, document analysis, and observations to strengthen the credibility of the needs analysis. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively using percentage analysis, while qualitative information supported the interpretation. Students showed high interest in IPAS learning (91.3%), while 76.0% understood plant reproduction and 72.0% experienced difficulties. Technology-based media use reached 84.0%, with 90.7% of students interested in media-assisted learning and 88.0% reporting improved understanding. Therefore, the findings indicate that the required media should not only provide interactive and visually engaging learning experiences but also offer functional offline access to ensure flexible and sustainable use in IPAS learning.
