Traditional dance represents a form of cultural heritage and a valuable learning resource in Cultural Arts education because of its artistic elements, historical significance, local wisdom, and cultural values. This study aims to synthesize evidence on traditional dance utilization in Cultural Arts learning and analyze the potential of Kembang Cabik Dance as a local culture-based learning resource. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted following PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Literature searches were performed across Google Scholar, Garuda, SINTA, DOAJ, and Neliti for publications from 2015 to 2025 using keywords related to traditional dance, arts education, local culture, and learning resources. The search identified 306 records. After removing 42 duplicates, 264 records were screened, 178 were excluded, and 86 articles were assessed. A total of 68 articles were excluded, resulting in 18 studies for thematic synthesis. The findings identified four functions of traditional dance in Cultural Arts learning: learning material, instructional media, cultural preservation, and local culture-based learning resource. Six aspects were identified: dance movements, accompanying music, costumes and properties, dance history, cultural values, and symbolic meanings. Kembang Cabik Dance demonstrates potential as a multidimensional learning resource connecting artistic practice, cultural knowledge, and the identity of the Tebing community in Bangka Belitung.
