Individual Counseling Using Cognitive Restructuring Techniques to Reducing Nomophobic Behavior

The purpose of this research on individual counseling services applying cognitive restructuring techniques to minimize nomophobic behavior of SMP 12 Palu students is to investigate the effect of these services. The study employed a quantitative single- subject research (SSR) experimental method with the initial’s SF and an A-B research design. The research data serves to conduct descriptive and visual analyses of the implementation process, which was done in 9 sessions based on baseline A (3 sessions) and intervention B (6 sessions). The results of the research on Nomophobia SF behavior are quite high in baseline A 3 sessions; the graph is stable parallel (=) with an initial value of 55 and a final value of 55 minus the value (0) in three sessions where both before the service was given and after Intervention B was conducted; 6 sessions of final data were less than the initial data of 55 with the graph experiencing changes (-) data from intervention B with a value of -49. This conclusion is based on guidelines, and the services offered are beneficial in reducing nomophobia behavior.
